Maps & Stats offers
quick online access to local information - allowing you to zoom in on a map
of the District, and either select information for an existing administrative
area (eg. Ward or Parliamentary Constituency) or define your own area by
drawing it on screen with your mouse - and then call up information and statistics
about that area. Maps & Stats can also help you identify small census
collection areas (called Output Areas or OA's). It currently consists of
two systems the Maps&Stats:BCSP and Maps&Stats:BDDI however
these will shortly be joined by a number of other topic areas, for more details see
below.
NOTE:
Maps&Stats:BCSP and Maps&Stats:BDDI both require the
installation of a piece of viewer software called "Autodesk Mapguide Viewer",
it should be downloaded automatically the first time you use the sites, if
however it doesn't it can be manually
downloaded. |
